NAMI Sharing Hope: A Community Conversation around Emotional Wellness in the Black Community
July 28 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Please join NAMI Chester County PA Advisory Board Chair Sharon Hardin, as well as Sharlé and Wanda Miller for NAMI Sharing Hope! NAMI Sharing Hope is a program for people who identify as Black or African and it’s designed to create a safe space for People of Color to develop their own language and solutions around emotional health and wellness. NAMI Sharing Hope promotes mental health awareness, explores signs and symptoms of mental health conditions, and highlights how and where to find help.
This three part series is free of charge and will take place at the Historic Hutchinson Memorial UAME Church in Coatesville following the 11:30am Sunday service. You do not need to attend all three sessions, though we encourage you to if you’re able! The dates for NAMI Sharing Hope are:
Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is encouraged; please email info@namichescopa.org with any questions. We look forward to having this meaningful conversation with you starting on July 28th at 12 pm!
